Odisha CM joins Tiranga Yatra, promotes Har Ghar Tiranga campaign

Bhubaneswar, Aug 14: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi participated in the Tiranga Yatra in Bhubaneswar on Wednesday. He was joined by Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida, Ekamra MLA Babu Singh, and former BJP state president Samir Mohanty.

Majhi had earlier launched the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan on August 12, with Parida, Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari, and Law Minister Prithiviraj Harichandan in attendance. The Yatra began at the Lingraj Temple.

Majhi emphasized the importance of the campaign, noting, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged everyone to engage in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ movement to reignite our patriotic spirit. This initiative is designed to make every citizen appreciate the significance of the national flag.” He also encouraged the people of Odisha to participate by displaying the national flag at their homes and sharing selfies with it.

The Tiranga Yatra is part of the broader Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan, a project spearheaded by Prime Minister Modi to foster nationalism by encouraging citizens to showcase the national flag at their residences.
