Mohan Majhi to launch CM Kisan Yojana in Sambalpur during Nuakhai

Bhubaneswar, Sept 5: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is set to make a two-day visit to Sambalpur starting September 8, where he will unveil the CM Kisan Yojana during the Nuakhai festival celebrations. His visit will span September 8 and 9, with the launch of the new scheme scheduled for the first day.
During his stay, the Chief Minister will participate in the ‘Nuakhai Bhetghat’ events and offer prayers at the Maa Samaleswari temple in Sambalpur.
The CM Kisan Yojana is designed to replace the existing KALIA scheme, with the goal of better supporting farmers. The new program will provide small and marginal farmers with an annual aid of Rs 4000, distributed in two phases of Rs 2000 each. Additionally, landless farmers will receive Rs 12,500 in three phases.
