Dharmendra Pradhan urges voters: Double the lotus, double the progress for Odisha

Sambalpur, May 14: Union Minister of Education and Minister of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Dharmendra Pradhan, along with BJP Lok Sabha candidate from Sambalpur, embarked on a roadshow in Boinda under Athamallik assembly constituency in Angul district, accompanied by BJP Athamallik assembly candidate Sanjeev Sahoo.

During the rally, Minister Pradhan called upon the electorate to endorse the Lotus symbol for state development. He appealed for support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's third term and advocated for a double-engine government in Odisha.

In a tweet, Minister Pradhan stated, "Participated in the march and road show with MLA candidate Sanjeev Kumar Sahu... Witnessed a surge of change in Athmallick. The backing of both seasoned citizens and youth for the BJP is heartening."

He emphasized, "Requesting votes for Padma Phul twice, both for Lok Sabha and Assembly seats on the 25th. Double the Lotus, double the progress; BJP will lead Odisha."

Earlier, addressing a public gathering in Sambalpur, Pradhan criticized the Biju Janata Dal (BJD), the incumbent party in Odisha for 24 years, alleging a failure to provide basic amenities.

He remarked, "Despite their long tenure, the BJD government has faltered in ensuring piped water supply to numerous households. Efforts to enhance farmland irrigation are lacking, alongside shortages of medical personnel and teachers."

Pradhan highlighted the issue of unemployment, stating that a significant portion of the state's educated youth is compelled to seek opportunities elsewhere, even overseas. Assuring welfare measures under the BJP's 'double-engine' government, he pledged to prioritize farmers' interests, promising improved MSP support and enhanced irrigation facilities.
