BIPF invites Odisha students to apply for Professor Ghanashyam Dash Scholarship

Bhubaneswar, Oct 7: The Bansidhar & Ila Panda Foundation (BIPF), the social development wing of Indian Metals and Ferro Alloys Limited (IMFA), is now accepting applications for the 20th edition of the esteemed Professor Ghanashyam Dash Scholarship (PGDS) for Higher Education.
This scholarship aims to empower talented students from Odisha to pursue advanced professional education. Each year, six exceptional students are awarded financial assistance to study disciplines such as engineering, medicine, STEM, and liberal arts at premier institutions across India.
The Professor Ghanashyam Dash Scholarship provides coverage for up to 90% of academic fees and eligible expenses, with a maximum amount of ₹6 lakhs awarded to each recipient. This financial support enables students to complete their four-year professional programs. Additionally, scholarship recipients will have access to BIPF’s exclusive mentorship program, ‘UTSAAH’, which offers academic and career guidance from IMFA executives.
Applications for the academic year 2024-2025 are now open, with a submission deadline of November 15, 2024. Students from Odisha who meet the eligibility criteria, including an annual household income of less than ₹8 lakhs, can apply online at www.bipf.org.in.
