Amit Shah to visit Odisha on March 22-23, to launch key infrastructure projects

Bhubaneswar, March 12: Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to embark on a two-day visit to Odisha on March 22 and 23, during which he will launch several key infrastructure projects and participate in political engagements. According to official sources, Shah will arrive in Bhubaneswar on March 22, and the final details of his itinerary are being worked out.
As part of his visit, the Home Minister will lay the foundation stone for multiple development initiatives. A major highlight includes the establishment of ten new fire stations in the state, which will be funded through the 15th Finance Commission’s upgradation grant. These stations aim to enhance emergency response capabilities and disaster management preparedness in Odisha.
Additionally, Shah will flag off 25 Rapid Response Vehicles, which will be strategically deployed along major highways to improve emergency services, particularly in cases of road accidents.
Apart from these official engagements, he is also expected to hold discussions with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders in Odisha to strengthen the party’s organizational structure ahead of upcoming political events.
