PM Modi and Amit Shah to participate in key police conference in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar, Nov 25: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah are scheduled to attend the three-day All-India Conference of Directors General (DGs) and Inspectors General (IGs) of Police, set to begin in Bhubaneswar on November 29. This was confirmed by Odisha’s Director General of Police (DGP), Yogesh Bahadur Khurania, during a press conference on Monday.
Khurania highlighted that Odisha will host this prestigious conference for the first time, which will bring together senior police officials from across the country. "This is the first time the DG-IG Conference will be held in Bhubaneswar. The event, which will run for three days starting November 29, will see participation from DGPs of states and union territories, as well as DGs of central forces," said Khurania.
The conference will focus on national security concerns and address challenges faced by police forces. Discussions will also include new guidelines and strategies to enhance police operations and coordination across India.
