Hari Babu Kambhampati set to take oath as Odisha's Governor on January 3

Bhubaneswar, Jan 1: Hari Babu Kambhampati, the newly appointed Governor of Odisha, is set to arrive in Bhubaneswar on Thursday in preparation for his upcoming swearing-in ceremony. Following his arrival in the capital city, Kambhampati plans to visit the famous Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri to seek blessings from the sibling deities.

According to official reports, the 71-year-old Kambhampati is scheduled to take his oath of office on January 3. Prior to this appointment, he served as the Governor of Mizoram and will take over from Raghubar Das.

Kambhampati possesses a robust educational and political background. As a qualified engineer and distinguished educator, he has spent 24 years as an Associate Professor at Andhra University Engineering College, where he played a significant role in shaping the careers of many engineering students. Following the resignation of Raghubar Das, President Droupadi Murmu appointed Kambhampati as the new Governor of Odisha.
