Family escapes car blaze following crash to avoid bull in Puri

Bhubaneswar, Aug 4: Five passengers, including a 3-month-old infant, narrowly escaped after their car caught fire following a collision with another vehicle while attempting to avoid a bull.
The incident occurred in Pipili Dandamukundapur, Puri district, on Sunday. The car was traveling from Bhubaneswar to Puri when a bull suddenly ran across the road near Dandamukundapur. In an attempt to avoid the bull, the driver swerved left, hitting a scooter. The car lost balance, overturned, and both the scooter and its rider fell into a roadside nullah.
Fortunately, all passengers managed to exit the car before it caught fire. The Pipili fire brigade promptly arrived at the scene and extinguished the blaze. Local police also arrived and began an inquiry into the incident.
All five car passengers and the scooter rider sustained injuries and have been admitted to a nearby hospital.
