Visit the stunning Raj Bhavan garden: Open now for public

Bhubaneswar, Jan 13: The Raj Bhavan garden in Bhubaneswar, known as the Governor's House, has been opened to the public and school students for a special 10-day period starting Monday. This picturesque garden features a diverse range of flowers, multiple water fountains, and various wildlife, including deer, peacocks, ducks, and swans, along with a pond filled with colorful fish.
The garden will be accessible to the general public from 2:30 PM to 5 PM until January 22, with entry restricted after 4:30 PM. Visitors must use the 'Raj Bhavan Garden Visit' mobile app, available for download on the Google Play Store, to gain entry, and there is no admission fee.
Students up to Class X can explore the garden daily from 8:30 AM to 10 AM, excluding Sundays, provided they have a written request from their school. They must wear their school uniforms, carry their identity cards, and be accompanied by sufficient teachers and staff. Schools need to submit their permission requests to the ADC to the Governor at adc.odishagovernor@gmail.com, detailing the supervising staff's contact information, the visit date and purpose, and the number of attendees.
Typically closed to the public, the garden opens during winter to welcome visitors who wish to admire its beauty and floral displays.
