Subhadra Yojana SOP to be finalised after public and stakeholder input: Odisha Deputy CM

Bhubaneswar, Aug 13: Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida  today revealed that the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the Subhadra Yojana, a new women-centric initiative, will be unveiled soon. The finalization of the SOP will incorporate feedback from the public, experts, and other relevant stakeholders.

Parida described the Subhadra Yojana as a landmark program designed to empower women and significantly improve their lives. She urged the public to refrain from speculating about the scheme until the SOP is officially released and assured that the application process will be user-friendly and straightforward.

In a media briefing, Parida stated, “The Subhadra Yojana is aimed at enhancing women’s empowerment. Our objective is to make 50% of women economically self-sufficient by providing them with financial support. We have developed a comprehensive roadmap for the scheme and are actively seeking input from various stakeholders to ensure its effectiveness and accuracy. Our aim is to reach and benefit as many women as possible.”

She also mentioned that the government has instructed collectors to gather feedback from stakeholders by August 14. Following the collection of this feedback, the government will review its feasibility and make any necessary adjustments to the SOP.
