SOA among top four Indian institutions in THE World Reputation Rankings 2025

Bhubaneswar, Feb 19: Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA) Deemed to be University has achieved a significant milestone by securing a spot in the Times Higher Education (THE) World Reputation Rankings 2025, making it one of only four Indian institutions to be featured.

The prestigious list, published on Tuesday, includes Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bengaluru, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, and IIT Madras alongside SOA. Notably, SOA is the only private institution from India to be included, with all four universities placed in the 201-300 bracket among the world's top 300 institutions across 38 countries under a newly revamped ranking methodology.

On the global front, Harvard University retained its top position for the 14th consecutive year, followed by Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and University of Oxford (joint 2nd), and Stanford University and University of Cambridge (joint 4th).

SOA has consistently demonstrated excellence in academics, healthcare, and research. In 2024, it was ranked 14th among Indian universities by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) and accredited with the highest Grade A++ by NAAC. The university also holds Category-I Graded Autonomy Status from the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is globally ranked in QS and THE World University Rankings.
