Bhubaneswar Airport set for enhanced connectivity with new flight services

Bhubaneswar, Nov 28: In a bid to improve connectivity, two airlines are set to launch new services from Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) in Bhubaneswar, starting in January 2025. IndiGo will introduce flights to Indore four times a week and to Dehradun three times a week, beginning on January 1. These flights are scheduled to depart Bhubaneswar at 3 PM.
Additionally, IndiGo will initiate a new route from Bengaluru, with departures starting at 6:15 AM and arrivals at 12:20 AM, effective January 4.
On the same date, Air India Express will commence tri-weekly flights between Bhubaneswar and Lucknow. Flight IX2801 is set to leave Bhubaneswar at 7:55 AM, arriving in Lucknow at 9:40 AM, with the return flight, IX2802, departing Lucknow at 11:15 AM and landing back in Bhubaneswar at 1:05 PM. Air India Express will also begin a Bhubaneswar-Jaipur service on January 3, operating four days a week.
Furthermore, the airline will launch a daily flight to Kochi starting January 3, with Flight IX1596 departing at 3:10 PM and arriving in Kochi at 5:40 PM. The return flight, IX1597, will leave Kochi at 6:10 PM and reach Bhubaneswar at 9:50 PM. With these additions, Bhubaneswar will have direct connectivity to ten cities.
