Third phase of Subhadra Yojana payments for left-out beneficiaries soon

Bhubaneswar, Oct 28: Following the successful distribution of Rs 5,000 to beneficiaries in the second phase of the SUBHADRA Yojana, Odisha's Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida announced on Monday that the first installment of the third phase will soon be credited directly to the bank accounts of those who were previously excluded from the initiative.

The program, launched by the BJP government, has already benefited around 60 lakh women in the initial phases. Parida emphasized that all beneficiaries who missed out on the earlier phases will receive their allocated funds in this upcoming phase.

Reports indicate that disbursements are expected to begin in the first week of November, with October 31 set as the deadline for beneficiaries to update their bank information to ensure a smooth transaction process. Notably, the second phase of payments was successfully processed on October 9.

Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the SUBHADRA Yojana on his birthday, September 17, this year, and future installments are scheduled for International Women’s Day (March 8, 2025) and Rakhi Purnima (August 9) next year.
