Odisha CM listens to grievances, acts quickly for child's healthcare needs

Bhubaneswar, Feb 3: In a prompt response to a plea for urgent medical assistance, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi took immediate action on Monday for the treatment of a 12-year-old boy from Balangir district.
Upon the boy’s arrival at the Chief Minister's grievance cell in Bhubaneswar with his family from Saintala, Majhi inquired about his health condition. The family explained that Alok Kalsingh was suffering from a severe illness that left him unable to walk. Recognizing the urgency of the situation, the Chief Minister instructed officials to arrange an ambulance to transfer the boy to the Capital Hospital without delay.
Thanks to the swift response from the Chief Minister's office, Alok was transported in an ambulance and admitted to the hospital for the necessary medical care. Majhi also emphasized the need for ensuring that Alok received proper treatment during his stay at the hospital. The family had struggled with medical expenses and had turned to the grievance cell after seeing no improvement in Alok's condition despite their efforts.
Additionally, the Chief Minister listened attentively to the concerns of other visitors at the grievance cell, facilitating prompt resolutions to their issues.
