CM Mohan Charan Majhi begins four-day Delhi visit to meet PM Modi, attend key policy meetings

Bhubaneswar, May 23: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is set to begin a four-day visit to New Delhi on Friday, where he will engage in a series of high-level meetings with top national leaders and participate in critical policy discussions aimed at accelerating the state’s development agenda.
A major highlight of the visit will be a one-on-one meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. According to sources, CM Majhi is expected to formally invite the Prime Minister to attend the first anniversary celebrations of the BJP-led government in Odisha, scheduled for next month. He is also likely to present a comprehensive report outlining his government's achievements over the past year and discuss a long-term roadmap for Odisha’s growth.
The anniversary event will serve as a platform to showcase the BJP government’s success in implementing various welfare and development schemes, reflecting its commitment to inclusive governance.
During his stay, Majhi will also attend the NITI Aayog Governing Council meeting on May 24, chaired by PM Modi, to deliberate on national and state-level policy priorities. Additionally, he will participate in a conclave of NDA-ruled states’ Chief Ministers and may hold meetings with Union Ministers and senior BJP leaders, underlining Odisha’s focus on deeper Centre-state collaboration.
