Applications invited for 13th Shambhavi Puraskar by Bansidhar and Ila Panda Foundation

Bhubaneswar, Nov 12: The Bansidhar and Ila Panda Foundation (BIPF) has invited applications from individuals, groups, and organizations working in the social sector for the 13th edition of the Shambhavi Puraskar. The prestigious award carries a cash prize of ₹5 lakh, a citation, and a trophy, while the Jury Commendation Certification includes a cash prize of ₹1 lakh along with a citation.

Instituted in 2014, the Shambhavi Puraskar aims to recognize and inspire changemakers who have brought about meaningful social transformation at the grassroots level. Over the past decade, the award has helped outstanding individuals and organizations gain wider recognition and connect with social investors and partners for greater impact.

This year, BIPF has introduced a special emphasis on social innovation, encouraging startups, entrepreneurs, students, NGOs, and CSR professionals developing technology-driven solutions in areas such as education, healthcare, livelihoods, water and sanitation, women’s empowerment, and community advocacy.

Winners are selected by an independent jury panel comprising eminent personalities from government, academia, industry, and media. Interested applicants can apply through www.bipf.org  before November 30, 2025.
