Autism Therapy Centre Bhubaneswar Celebrates Annual Day and Autism Awareness Day with enthusiasm

Bhubaneswar, Dec 8: The Autism Therapy Centre (ATC), Bhubaneswar celebrated its Annual Day Function along with Autism Awareness Day today at the RMRC Auditorium near Kalinga Hospital Square. The event was marked by devotion, joy and active participation from autistic children, their parents, family members and several distinguished guests.

Talat Aafreen, Executive Director (P&A), Special Officer & Head CSR, OMC Ltd., graced the programme as the Chief Guest. The celebration began with a formal reception of the dignitaries followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolising the auspicious opening of the event.

Presenting the Annual Report, Swarnalata Mishra, Chairman of MAN Trust, highlighted the various activities undertaken by ATC throughout the year. These included the Annual Sports Meet, observance of national and religious celebration days, preparation of the ATC calendar and several other initiatives aimed at supporting autistic children.

Winners of the Sports Meet and a Debate Competition themed “Awareness or Acceptance & Empowerment for Autistic Individuals” were felicitated during the function. Gautam Panda received the prestigious “ATC Champion-2025” award, while Aditya Mohanty’s impressive keyboard performance won appreciation from the audience.

The event was presided over by Madan Mohan Panda, Trustee of MAN Trust, and concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. (Dr.) Ranjan Kumar Bal, Member of the Executive Body. The programme ended on a joyous note with a vibrant cultural performance by autistic children.
