Bhubaneswar, April 16: The ETAACT 2026, a two-day international conference focusing on emerging trends in computational intelligence, was successfully held on April 10 and 11 at SOA Deemed to be University.
Organised in hybrid mode by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at ITER, the conference witnessed participation from researchers, academicians, scientists and industry experts from across the globe. It served as a vibrant platform for sharing innovative ideas and discussing advancements in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Big Data Analytics, Deep Learning, Internet of Things, and Cloud and Fog Computing.
The event was technically sponsored by IEEE, along with the IEEE Bhubaneswar Section and its Consumer Technology Society Chapter. Deliberations also covered Neural Networks, Optimization Techniques and Security Technologies.
Prominent speakers included Amitava Mukherjee, Somnath Tripathy, Sung-Bae Cho and Bibhudatta Sahoo.
The conference featured seven specialised tracks and received around 2,000 research paper submissions from countries including the UK, USA, Germany and UAE. The event marked a significant step in strengthening global collaboration and positioning Bhubaneswar as a growing hub for technological innovation.
