Bhubaneswar, May 18: SOA Deemed to be University has been conferred with the prestigious ‘CSR Excellence in Education’ award at the Competition Success Review (CSR) Award event held in New Delhi on Sunday.
On the occasion, Prof. (Dr.) Manojranjan Nayak was honoured with the ‘CSR Eminent Founding Director of Leading Institute of India’ award in recognition of his contribution to the field of higher education and institutional development.
Several constituent institutes of SOA also received national-level recognition at the event. Institute of Technical Education and Research (ITER), the university’s faculty of engineering and technology, was presented the ‘CSR Leading Institute for Excellence in Career Development’ award.
Similarly, Institute of Business and Computer Studies (IBCS), SOA’s faculty of management sciences, received the ‘CSR Top Leading Institute of India’ award. The School of Hotel Management under SOA was also recognised as the ‘CSR Top Hotel Management Institute of India’.
The awards were received by Pritam Nayak, Officer on Special Duty to the Founder President of SOA, from Vandana Badhwar, Managing Director of CSR magazine. The event was attended by distinguished academicians, university directors and education leaders from across the country, including S.K. Sachdeva, Chairman of CSR Group.
