Bhubaneswar, May 20: The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) on Wednesday announced the results of the Plus Two (Class 12) examinations for 2026, recording an overall pass percentage of 85.85 per cent across all streams.
School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond formally declared the results for Arts, Science, Commerce and Vocational streams at the CHSE headquarters in Bhubaneswar.
As per official data, the Science stream emerged with the highest success rate at 88.80 per cent, while Commerce students registered a pass percentage of 88.07 per cent. The Arts stream recorded 84.50 per cent results, whereas the Vocational Education stream achieved a pass percentage of 77.62 per cent.
Girls outperformed boys in all streams, continuing the trend of better academic performance by female students in Odisha board examinations.
This year, nearly 4.01 lakh students had registered for the annual examinations, while around 3.96 lakh candidates appeared for the tests conducted between February 18 and March 27, 2026.
Among all streams, Arts recorded the highest number of examinees at 2,47,391, followed by Science with 1,14,980 students, Commerce with 25,526, and Vocational Education with 5,721 candidates.
Students can access their results online through the official CHSE Odisha and Odisha Results websites from 3 pm onwards. Digital marksheets are also available on DigiLocker.
