Bhubaneswar, April 24: The Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA), in collaboration with CARE Hospitals, organised a free health camp for its employees at the BDA office in Bhubaneswar on April 24.
The initiative aimed at promoting the health and well-being of employees by offering a range of basic medical check-ups. Services provided at the camp included blood pressure measurement, random blood sugar tests, ECG examinations, and eye screenings. In addition to diagnostic services, a team of doctors also offered free medical consultations and guidance to employees.
Speaking on the occasion, BDA Vice Chairman Chanchal Rana said the health camp was part of an ongoing effort to prioritise employee welfare. He added that similar programmes would be organised in the future to encourage preventive healthcare and regular health monitoring among staff members.
The medical team from CARE Hospitals comprised Dr. Bikram Keshari Mohapatra (Cardiology), Dr. Dillip Mohanty (Gastroenterology), and Dr. Adyasha Nanda (Medicine). Marketing Head, Dr. Lokanath Dash also supported the initiative.
The camp was coordinated by Additional Commissioner (Admin) Snigdha Rani Dhal, ensuring smooth conduct of the programme and active participation from BDA employees.
