Subhadra Scheme application forms available starting today

Bhubaneswar, Aug 31: The Women and Child Development Department has made application forms for the Subhadra Scheme available across all districts. Starting today, beneficiaries can access these forms, with the registration process set to begin tomorrow, Sunday.

The department has clarified that all procedures related to the scheme are entirely free of charge. Application forms can be collected from the following locations:

  • Anganwadi Centers
  • Block Offices
  • Municipal Offices
  • Mo Seva Kendras
  • Jana Seva Kendras

Completed forms should be submitted at the nearest Mo Seva Center or Jana Seva Kendra.

Eligibility criteria include:

  • Aadhaar Card/Number in the applicant’s name
  • Single-holder bank account linked with Aadhaar
  • Active DBT-enabled bank account
  • Mobile number linked with Aadhaar

The department has cautioned against false information and urged applicants to adhere to official guidelines to ensure a smooth registration process.

Launched to enhance the social and economic status of women in Odisha, the Subhadra Scheme is expected to benefit around 1 crore women, according to Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida.
