CM Mohan Charan Majhi holds 16th public grievance hearing, assures swift resolution

Bhubaneswar, Jan 5: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Monday conducted the 16th public grievance hearing at the Grievance Cell in Unit-2, Bhubaneswar, reaffirming the state government’s commitment to people-centric and transparent governance. People from various districts of Odisha attended the hearing and directly placed their grievances before the Chief Minister.

Majhi patiently listened to issues related to welfare schemes, land disputes, healthcare, employment, and administrative delays. After hearing the complaints, he directed the concerned officials to resolve the grievances at the earliest and ensure that applicants are not subjected to unnecessary hardship. He also stressed the importance of follow-up action so that grievances are addressed in a time-bound manner.

Sharing his thoughts on social media, the Chief Minister said the unwavering trust and confidence of the people give the government strength to serve continuously. Describing the present dispensation as a “people’s government,” he said efforts are being made to bridge the gap between the administration and citizens by making governance more accessible and responsive.

Majhi further emphasised that public grievance hearings, transparent administration, and speedy action are top priorities of his government. “We are working to ensure that no one is deprived of justice,” he said, underlining his resolve to build a responsive and accountable governance system in Odisha.
