Odisha Plus Two result date yet to be finalised, CHSE clarifies amid viral message
Bhubaneswar, May 3: A viral message claiming that the annual Plus Two (Class 12) examination results in Odisha will be declared on May 6 at 10 AM has created a wave of confusion and anxiety among thousands of students. However, the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha, has now come forward to clarify that the message is completely false and misleading.
In a public statement issued on Saturday, CHSE officials dismissed the circulating notice as fake. “The message being shared on social media is baseless. CHSE has not announced any official date for the publication of Plus Two results,” said a senior CHSE official.
The board has urged students and parents to refrain from trusting unofficial sources and to wait for information to be released via the official website or verified media outlets.
The Plus Two board exams concluded on March 27, 2025, and the evaluation process began on April 2 at 1,276 centres. While answer sheet evaluation was completed by May 1, backend processes like result compilation and verification are still underway. The results are expected by the third week of May.
