Bhubaneswar, Feb 6: As part of the promotional campaign for the upcoming Hindi feature film ASSI, acclaimed actors Manoj Pahwa and Kumud Mishra visited Bhubaneswar and took part in a series of promotional activities, connecting with students, media professionals and digital influencers.
The tour began at the Modern Institute of Technology and Management (MITM), Bidyavihar, Kantabada, where the actors interacted with students on cinema, storytelling and the importance of socially relevant films in contemporary times. The session received an enthusiastic response. The organisers expressed gratitude to MITM Group Chairperson Mrs. Himadri Tanaya Lenka and the institute’s directors for permitting the event.
Later, a special premiere screening of ASSI was held at Maharaja Hall, followed by a media interaction. Speaking on the occasion, Manoj Pahwa said the film reflects societal realities and raises uncomfortable but necessary questions. Kumud Mishra described ASSI as bold, relevant and emotionally powerful.
The visit also featured an influencer engagement session discussing the film’s themes. Starring Taapsee Pannu and directed by Anubhav Sinha, ASSI is presented by T-Series and Benaras Mediaworks and releases nationwide on February 20.
