Bhubaneswar, April 30: Students must focus on developing both character and skills to create a distinct identity and succeed in society, said Pradipta Kumar Nanda, Vice-Chancellor of SOA Deemed to be University, on Thursday.
Addressing students of the SOA National Institute of Law (SNIL) during ‘Justicia 4.0’, the institute’s cultural fest, Prof. Nanda emphasized the importance of personal growth and resilience. “You must evolve continuously and learn to handle life’s challenges calmly and wisely,” he advised.
Sharing an experience from a conference at IIT Bombay, he highlighted how students there managed the entire event with precision and discipline. “Everything was executed as per schedule and the arrangements were excellent,” he said, encouraging SNIL students to organize events with similar efficiency.
Prof. Nanda also noted that SNIL has been ranked among the top law schools in the country, while SOA Deemed to be University holds a strong national ranking as per NIRF 2025.
Welcoming the chief guest, SNIL Dean Prof. S.A.K. Azad urged students to make the fest a grand success. Senior professor Prof. Madhusudan Das said such events help in overall personality development.
