Bhubaneswar, Jun 10: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Wednesday extended warm congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on becoming India’s longest-serving continuously elected Prime Minister, hailing him as the “great charioteer of the faith, pride and rise of crores of Indians” and the “unique architect of modern India.”
In a message posted on social media platform X, the Chief Minister conveyed heartfelt greetings and best wishes on behalf of more than four crore people of Odisha. He described the Prime Minister’s achievement as a historic milestone in the nation’s democratic journey and a reflection of his unwavering dedication to public service and nation-building.
Majhi said Modi’s success was not merely a record of longevity in office but a recognition of his “Himalayan-like resolve,” life of sacrifice, visionary leadership and tireless efforts toward transforming India. According to the Chief Minister, the Prime Minister’s commitment to governance has inspired confidence among citizens and strengthened India’s position on the global stage.
Praising Modi’s leadership over the years, Majhi highlighted achievements in national security, welfare programmes for the poor, economic growth and infrastructure development. He remarked that the Prime Minister’s approach of treating public service as a sacred duty had ushered in a new era of prosperity and self-reliance for the country.
“The Prime Minister’s ceaseless efforts have elevated India into a secure, self-respecting and globally influential nation,” Majhi stated.
The Chief Minister also noted that Modi’s leadership had instilled renewed confidence among Indians and contributed significantly to the vision of a developed and empowered nation.
