Bhubaneswar, April 28: Manmohan Samal on Tuesday announced that all pending recruitments in Corporations and Boards across Odisha will be completed well before the state government marks two years in office.
Addressing the media, the Bharatiya Janata Party state president said June 12 will mark the completion of two years of the BJP government in Odisha. He assured that all remaining appointments, including those in vacant Corporations and Boards, will be finalised before the deadline. “We will ensure that all pending recruitments are completed within this timeframe. Every vacant post in Corporations and Boards will be filled,” he said.
Samal further informed that the process of appointing government lawyers has already been completed in 29 districts, while appointments in Khordha district are in the final stages and will be concluded soon.
On Cabinet expansion, he said a decision would be taken after consultations with the party’s central leadership.
Highlighting the government’s performance, Samal claimed that nearly 80 percent of the promises made in its election manifesto have already been fulfilled. He added that the remaining commitments would also be achieved before the two-year milestone.
Referring to recent elections in Assam and West Bengal, Samal noted that Odisha BJP workers actively campaigned across 36 Assembly constituencies.
