Odisha govt issues emergency helplines as cyclone Dana approaches

Bhubaneswar, Oct 23: As the deep depression in the Bay of Bengal intensified into Cyclone Dana on Wednesday morning, the Odisha government has proactively issued emergency helpline and control room numbers for residents seeking guidance and assistance. The toll-free number for support during and after the cyclone is 1077.

For emergencies, individuals can also reach out to the State Emergency Operation Center (SEOC) at 7682982668 or 0674-2534177.

In addition, specific emergency numbers have been established for the 15 most vulnerable districts, each with its own control room. The emergency contact numbers for these districts are as follows:
