Odisha CM’s grievance cell reopens after Assembly break

Bhubaneswar, Sept 23: The grievance cell of Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi reopened on Monday after a brief hiatus during the Legislative Assembly session. This morning, Majhi was present at the cell, engaging with officials from the Chief Minister's Office (CMO) and various departments, as they attended to members of the public who had traveled to Bhubaneswar from different parts of the state.

It's important to note that on Saturday, Majhi had inaugurated a camp office for the grievance cell in Mandua, located in Keonjhar district. The cell had been closed for six weeks due to the assembly session, with the exception of a few festivals that coincided with Mondays.

Starting this week, the cell will process 1,000 registrations, which will be conducted online to enhance the efficiency of grievance hearings and improve crowd management. Officials indicated that the public will now access the CM's grievance cell through a designated lane behind Rajiv Bhavan, while the route near Governor House to AG Square will be reserved for city traffic.
