Bhubaneswar, April 29: Leaders from government, industry, academia, and defence sectors will converge on a single platform for a high-level dialogue on building a secure and intelligent digital future at the two-day ‘National Conclave on Cyber Security, AI and Emerging Technologies—Securing Tomorrow’s Intelligent Systems’, beginning at SOA Deemed to be University on Wednesday.
The conclave is being organised by SOA in association with the Atal Incubation Centre SOA Foundation, with the aim of fostering collaboration, driving innovation, and aligning policies to strengthen India’s resilience against evolving cyber threats. It will also focus on promoting the responsible and ethical use of Artificial Intelligence.
Addressing a press conference, Prof. Manas Kumar Mallick, Director of AIC-SOA Foundation, said the initiative seeks to contribute towards building a trusted, self-reliant, and future-ready digital ecosystem for the country.
Key outcomes of the conclave will include policy recommendations on cybersecurity, AI governance, and data protection, along with strengthening partnerships between industry, academia, and government for research and implementation. A roadmap for securing critical digital infrastructure and supporting startups through innovation will also be outlined.
A white paper featuring key insights and actionable strategies will be released. Additionally, a Memorandum of Understanding will be signed to enhance collaboration in cybersecurity and AI development.
