12th edition of ‘Odisha Manaska’ explores the spectrum of identity with team Indradhanu
Bhubaneswar, July 14: The 12th edition of Odisha Manaska, a monthly discussion forum, was held on Sunday at Sahid Nagar, Bhubaneswar, featuring an engaging conversation on identity, alongside a special interaction with the cast and crew of the upcoming Odia anthology film Indradhanu.
Organised by All Things Odisha and hosted at the head office of ExtraOdinari and Safe Odisha For Her, the event welcomed over 20 participants from diverse backgrounds. The theme, “From Monochrome to Mosaic: Identity in All Its Dimensions,” encouraged attendees to reflect on how identity transcends black-and-white labels and instead exists across a wide and colorful spectrum.
Members of Indradhanu’s team, including director Arjun Samantray and actors Abhishek Giri, Samarpita Dash, and Parambir Chakra, joined the session to share their insights on identity and their creative journey behind the film.
The event was anchored by Sandip Kumar Bal, Sonali Priyadarsini, and Sonali Senapati. Other notable attendees included heritage researcher Anil Dhir, food researcher Ritu Pattanaik, actor Swastik Choudhury, and cinematographer Falgu Satpathy.
Since its inception in August 2024, Odisha Manaska has fostered inclusive, open dialogue on Odisha’s evolving culture and identity through 12 dynamic editions.
